Our summer internship program offers firsthand exposure to the powerful intersection of business, federal public policy, U.S. politics, and corporate reputation management. Duties & Responsibilities
• Monitor congressional hearings and produce recaps
• Provide policy analyses tailored for clients’ operational goals while considering wider political and reputational implications.
• Write a variety of client materials.
• Monitor industry and client news coverage.
• Stay up to date on key issues and current events for clients, and as appropriate, share developments with the team.
Required Skills
• Superior research and writing skills.
• Familiarity with the financial services and technology industries; additional industry knowledge a plus.
• Effective communications skillset: Technical and persuasive writing, presentation design, social media; graphic design skills a plus.
• Strong time and priority management skills.
• Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to operate with the highest level of integrity and a diplomatic demeanor.
Qualifications
• Rising senior, graduating senior, or graduate student from a top university.
• Demonstrated interest in finance, technology, political science, economics, or public policy.
• Strong GPA; other notable academic or extracurricular accomplishments a plus.
Timing & Location
• Our summer internship program begins on June 1 and concludes on August 14, with the possibility of an extended position; exceptions are made for conflicting academic schedules.
• This is a paid internship with competitive hourly compensation.
• Our office is in Washington, D.C and we work on a hybrid schedule. We encourage interns to benefit from the in-person work environment, but remote applicants will be considered.
